Title: "I Am"

So here it is, full circle. The HEW, a place that started it all for what I would later go on to do. Years ago, I came into this place as some green kid with a debt over my head. Somehow, lady luck shown down on me and I progressed forward… went on to become a mainstream star in the CWL and fWo. I soon found my name mentioned amongst other wrestlers that I had only heard about before. And so here it is, the circle complete and back where it all began. It seems only right.

         Home.

It was underground, but it had a following. The fans that went to HEW events were loyal. They stuck with the wrestlers and were able to be the elitist fan that everyone knows and hates when a particular wrestler they followed made an impact in some federation that was pulling some numbers with Nielson. They knew about him before anyone else and they wouldn't hesitate to tell you.

I was one of those wrestlers.

Thanks in part to the success of many of those who cut their teeth in the HEW and went on to become household names, the return of the HEW has caused quite a stir in the community of the elitist and mainstream fans alike. Everyone's back under one roof, and there are new guys coming in to add their name into the alumni of the HEW records. Some are fresh faces to the wrestling world. Some are known throughout the circuit. The HEW return has gathered a varied assembly.

Where do I stand in all of this?

I'm back for session number two, having been there to see it go down last time around, and will be here to see it come back in its rightful glory. The memories from stepping back into that atmosphere are like a strong humidity knocking me back into a household door. I remember people like Stratusphere. I had my first match with him. I remember the electricity running through my body as I stepped out from behind the curtain and fought him in my debut. I remember winning the HEW Hardcore title for the first time. I remember Iceman and Daredevil, both vying for a shot against me for that title.

         I remember Havoc.

The blood that I shed with him will be blood that I'll never regain, but the scars will adorn my body forever. Our battle carried on past HEW, into places that neither of us imagined. Many think that narcotics kill brain cells, but he holds many of mine still to this day.

But overall, I remember HEW. I remember the strong emblem that it blazed through the competition. The never say die attitude. The attitude. The fight. This is what HEW is. This is what HEW is all about. And this is what HEW will be.

Who am I to second-guess the facts that will be made?

         I am but Zero.
